Welcome to Leeside Studio: a home for rescued paper goods and an outlet for some of my fine art endeavors.

My name is Cas and I am on a constant search for troubled, neglected articles of paper and fiber in order to give them a second life.

All my materials are rescued from cast off goods headed to the thrift store or landfill. These include, but are not limited to: old nautical and geographical maps, brown grocery bags, scrap fabric, bags of used buttons, old books and anything else I can snitch from my friends and family. Each piece I make is one of a kind, full of character and created to be beautiful in it's raggedy, frayed, tattered state.
