Welcome
Hello and Welcome! Looking for handmade cards, gift tags and one of a kind jewelry and knit goods? Then check out my selection of handmade, hand stamped and hand stitched paper goods! Or my new line of handmade jewelry and knit goods. Le Printemps offers a variety of handmade goods for all occasions. Need more? Need less? Need it in a different colour? Custom orders are always welcome!
As an Etsy customer myself, I know what a great privilege and treat it is to visit seller's stores and find the perfect item or gift. It is even more exciting when the items arrive in the mail! To ensure this experience in my shop I have laid out the following shop policies. If you have any questions about anything outlined here, please feel free to convo me!
Customer Service and Feedback
*I will try my best to answer all convos within 24 hours – customer service and your business is important to me.
* If something is not right with your order, please let me know so we can find a mutually acceptable resolution. Your business and satisfaction are important to me.
*If you do not receive a shipping confirmation convo, please check the status of your purchase – I check items as shipped once they have been dropped off at the post office.
*If your item requires special care I will either send the information along with your shipment or convo you the care instructions.
*I leave feedback as soon as the transaction has been completed on my end. I do this to show appreciation for my customers. If there is a problem with your purchase (you feel the listing wasn’t accurate, the item arrives broken or damaged, or is the wrong size etc) please convo me before leaving negative feedback. This is my business and I will work with you to solve the problem.
General Information
*I try to represent my listings as accurately as possible and give you multiple photos from different angles so that you know exactly what you're buying. I take all of my photos in natural light. However, keep in mind that monitor settings are different from one computer to another, so colours may vary. Please also keep in mind that most vintage items are used and will have slight imperfections, wear, and surface scratches – any imperfections will be noted in the item’s description. All destash items are packaged as pictured.
*All handmade items are made by me. If you see something you like, but don't like the colour or need more, please convo me and we can work together on the design. See something in the sold section? Convo me! I can probably recreate it.
*I try to list new items every week – so check back often for new designs and vintage items.
Payment
*I only accept PayPal.
*Reserved items will be held for 7 days.
*Custom orders are welcome, but payment must be received before the custom work is started.
*Shortening the length of a chain, swapping the colour of a bead, or changing the metal on a pair of earrings is considered custom work and payment must be received before this work is completed.
Shipping
*I ship purchases on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Purchases made after 5:00 pm on one of the listed shipping days will be shipped on the next shipping day.
*Please ensure that your Etsy address and PayPal address are the same and up to date. I ship only to Etsy addresses.
*All items are shipped through Canada Post. Please allow 10 to 12 days for shipping within Canada. Shipping to the United States usually takes 14 to 21 days and shipping overseas is 3 to 5 weeks.
*American purchases may be subject to customs duties - these are your responsiblity to pay. I will not lie on custom forms.
*Purchases under $30.00 are shipped Canada Post surface – these packages cannot be tracked. If you would like a tracking number and insurance, please convo me and I will set a listing up for you. Tracking and insurance is $6.00 extra.
*Tracking and insurance is included on all purchases over $30.00 – I pay the difference.
*It is not my intention to make money off of shipping. I do charge a small fee for shipping supplies i.e. bubble mailers, but this amounts to $0.38 cents. If I over estimate your shipping charges by more than $1.00 USD I will refund the difference to your PayPal account.
*Shipping charges reflect not only the cost of postage but also fuel surcharges from Canada Post and HST (Harmonized Sales Tax in Canada). These do not appear on the postage, but are charged to the shipper. So the postage amount that appears on your package will be different from what you have actually been charged. Canada Post fuel surcharges depend on the weight of the item, but are usually around $0.50 to $0.75 cents for the items listed in my shop.
*I pack items securely, but cannot be responsible for what happens to packages once they leave my hands and are in the Canada Post system.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns can be made within one week of receipt if the item is faulty. I cannot return or refund items damaged by the postal service if they are not insured.
If a handmade item is faulty, please contact me. I will work with you to remedy the problem. If you simply do not like your purchase, I will refund your money if the item is unused and in new condition. I, unfortunately, cannot refund the shipping on these items. All refunds will be made through paypal.
Additional Policies and FAQs
*All items in my Etsy store are made and stored in a smoke-free home. I do have two pet rabbits - Oliver and Mr. Beans.
*Requests for customs orders are always welcome!
