lexismonkey's Shop Policies

Welcome

★Thank you for visiting my Etsy shop! I appreciate your business.★
Some quick information:
- I only offer items that I would wear.
- You will not find armpit stains or any disgusting surprises.
- I hand wash/clean/sterilize pretty much EVERYTHING before I get it through my front door.
- HOWEVER, if you have worn the garment a few times and damaged it, please do not try to return it. It is just embarrassing for both parties, I do not even like saying this, it should be obvious, but it has happened already.
- I am always open to comments, suggestions, critical or otherwise.
- I ship within 1 business day almost always, unless there is midterms/final exams/Armageddon
- I always give positive feedback unless you ask me not too!
- I have 2 dogs and 1 cat and I live in a very old Victorian home. Sometimes a hair gets in the tape or packaging somehow and I sincerely apologize for this, I cannot do anything about it, I literally clean every day. If you have severe allergies, tell me ahead of time so I can get a friend to package the item!

Payment

★♥Paypal preferred but I'm an open minded person so contact me if you'd like to discuss other payment methods.

I do accept money orders, however I require that you contact me first!

Shipping

--★--
I ship within two to three business days usually.

I use the most cost-effective, earth-friendly way to ship that I possibly can! Did you know that 34% of landfill space is paper waste? Ack! So I reuse packing materials, boxes, peanuts, bubblewrap and so on.

If you would like delivery confirmation and/or please notify me ahead of time (before you purchase the item) so I can add the cost to the total.

Refunds and Exchanges

I NOW ACCEPT ALL RETURNS BUT BUYERS MUST PAY FOR THE SHIPPING BOTH WAYS!

I'm sorry, but I can't afford to do otherwise. I'm a poor college student running an Etsy shop for book money not Piperlime.com. =)

Additional Policies and FAQs

I thought that it would be a good idea to clarify what I mean when I define something as “Mint” “near mint”…you know….

Mint: Somebody bought this and left it in the back of their closet with the tags on it till 30+ years later, and I acquired it. Mint means no stains, no color fade, no yellowing, no holes/rips/tears!
Near Mint: Near mint means no stains holes rips or tears, but has been worn once or twice, or I am not positive that the item hasn’t been worn.
Excellent: I use “Excellent” when I cannot find any stains or flaws but the garment has been worn several times, gently. The wear shows a very little bit.

Very Good: Garment might have been worn frequently, but it is in wearable condition without any major or noticeable flaws that will show while wearing the garment.

Fair: There are some noticeable flaws with the item, ie: snags, faint stains, but its still wearable and useful.

Cutter: mostly wearable as it is, but the flaws are numerous however the fabric/buttons/trims are usable for other projects, ie: quilting, ‘upcycling’, disassemble for reconstruction purposes.

I STATE ALL FLAWS THAT I CAN IDENTIFY IN A GARMENT, I am however, only human and occasionally I could miss something. If I miss something just contact me and I’ll do what I can to make it right.`
