Welcome to the Lian Xin Art Studio Etsy Shop. Here you will find art created by the three year old Chihuahua, Lian Xin. Lian uses non-toxic tempera on canvas boards. Her painting technique is to step in different color paints provided on plates by her assistant, then she runs, jumps, scratches and even licks the paint onto canvas boards that have been spread out over the studio floor. She is frequently “rewarded” during her creative process with delicious healthy treats.
The results are beautiful, unique pieces of art, composed of many layers of "paw strokes", reminiscent of flower petals. Each piece is sealed with a protective coat of varnish on both sides and has Lian's picture and bio on the back.
Also available in this store are hand-made items inspired by Lian's paintings. Look for greeting cards, hand-knitted items and jewelry, all made with puppy-love.
