Welcome to my studio featuring contemporary original paintings.

I have always been interested in the arts, but it never occurred to me to try painting. That was something totally out of reach, an impossibility! But, when my daughter wanted a painting for her new house I decided to try to do it for her. To make a long story short, I was “hooked”! With the encouragement and guidance of family, teachers, and friends, I have been painting ever since.

My paintings are usually over-sized, contemporary and a bit dramatic. I especially love painting florals and bayou scenes. I hope my paintings bring a little peace and beauty into the lives of those who see them – and maybe a little excitement. That’s certainly what they do for me!
