Welcome! Here you'll find the latest flashes of creative inspiration from my studio in Phoenix, Arizona. Think playful, retro, vintage, recycled, sustainable. Traditions made contemporary. Inspired by human made ironies and found objects from nature. Supportive of artistic traditions that are passed from the hands of grandmother to grandchild or from my hands to yours. Hopefully some of the items on this site will make you laugh out loud. Hopefully some of the stories that accompany these items will be memorable enough for you to pass along to a friend. I am glad to be part of the community that is etsy.com where we can celebrate and support handmade traditions in a whole new way.

if you happen to be in Arizona, convo me to find out where i am setting up my artist booth, so you can visit and shop in person! Thank you to all of my wonderful AZ customers who continue to spend their dollars on locally made, handcrafted artwork, even in this difficult economy - I really appreciate your support!

Please convo me if you live outside the United States and would like me to calculate shipping costs and add them to an item before you buy.

I have been solar dyeing gorgeous wool roving all summer long(so yes, there is at least one happy artist in Arizona every time the weather forecast hits 110 degrees!) which will soon be appearing for sale. My raw wool comes from free range Navajo Churro sheep and local pasture raised sheep.

Community Fundraiser! Visit my Craft Supplies page and purchase stamped cross stitch kits at huge savings, with net proceeds donated to support the nonprofit Downtown Phoenix Public Market as they get ready to open their new storefront. (www.foodconnect.org)
