We get it! Some things should never be changed! While we always recommend that all vintage lighting receive a rewire for the sake of safety, we respect your desire to maintain strict authenticity. Let us know when you make your purchase.

Worried that you may accidentally make custom changes to a designer or notable lamp?

If you're worried that the great lamp you're pondering a new paint job for may actually be "important" or collectible, never fear! Those are lines we won't cross and we'll make sure you don't either. We give you that info before you ever make your purchase.

Enjoy updating your vintage, blending the new with the old , or putting your personal stamp on a piece?

At your direction we can customize hardware, update or replace bases, and upgrade the standard wiring already included in your purchase. With each update your "new" vintage piece becomes even more distinctive & very possibly OOAK! You call the shots with Custom Vintage Design!

~Lampshade sourcing (I sometimes carry the vintage original shade that
came with a lamp when I acquired it, but am not able to carry a range updated shade
shapes/sizes/colors due to space limitations. For your convenience, i will source
shades for you per your preferences and your interior decor needs. I have
relationships with several lampshade manufacturers and suppliers and can handle
all of hassle so you don't have to!
