I design clothes and accessories for women who are not particularly intrigued by what they find in the mall. I search for quality textiles with unusual features to deconstruct and redesign into dresses, tunics and skirts. Primarily I'm looking for things that aren't wearable in their current condition and would benefit from a bit of a makeover. I'm drawn to natural fabrics- silk, linen and cotton- and it's important to me that the garment feel good on the body. I love the 40s and 50s...Victorian lace....bits of salvaged trim...Bakelite buttons...and anything quirky that catches my eye. I'm inspired by Vivienne Westwood, Junya Watanabe, Jean Paul Gaultier... whose work I admire and respect. I've been designing clothes for four years- having started with handbags and jewelry.

I'm happy to combine shipping costs on multiple purchases. If the combined total doesn't seem right, let me know. I always refund excess shipping.
