I hope you take a look through my beautiful patchwork designs and hand batiked shirts. I take such joy in making my pieces, each one is a one of a kind piece of art.

All of my patchwork and sewn pieces are done on my 4 thread serger and all are made to be durable. I usually wash my patchwork in the gentle cycle of the washing machine and then hang to air dry (good for the environment, your electric bill, and the garment).

All of my dyed items are dyed using Procion-type dyes, these dyes actually chemically bond to the fabric so colors won't fade with washing.

All of my batiked pieces are done by applying hot wax to the fabric or shirt. Once dyed, the piece is then boiled twice in hot water to assure all wax is removed, then the piece is washed twice to ensure all excess dye is removed. The piece should not bleed in the wash, but to be safe the first time I would suggest washing separatly.
