I started making cards for my friends and families in my early teens when I was introduced to scrap booking. My mom and grandma kept giving me crafty supplies and from there I have made many scrapbooks from my past memories and cards to give to many.
I have always felt so loved getting a hand made card with a love note written in it. I think the cards one can buy from the stores are neat and creative but it means so much more getting a hand made one. It shows that you value a person and took the time to craft something from your heart so show that you love and appreciate them! So with all my scrap booking supplies I would make cards and people have told me that they mean so much to them. I was convinced each time I would make something for my grandma and grandpa, when my pops would cry because he treasured it so much.
My husband encouraged me to keep making cards and perhaps sell them so other people would benefit from the gift of a hand made card, and so I did!
Now I will sell my cards on etsy and at craft fairs. I committed that all the proceeds will go towards mission trips in order to spread the love of God to others. My husband and I plan to go back to Africa and where ever else we are lead to go, and all that costs money. I will also need to use some of the money to buy new products to make the cards.
Thank you for hearing my story and checking out my shop, Love Notes Made With Lov, because the cards and crafts are really are made with love! :)
