Lucas Rockwell makes custom handbags from leather and the pages of fashion magazines. Each handbag is unique, and takes more than 10 hours to construct. The paper is made into a fabric-like material through a 4-step process, with the end result is still being paper on the outside. His favorite magazine to use is W, as the images are vivid, and the large format lends itself nicely to fitting in with his handbag designs.
