Blue lobsters really do exist! They have a genetic difference that makes them blue instead of brown. (Lobsters are only red when cooked.) It is considered very lucky to catch one because they are so rare - one in a million! Plus, it is lucky for the lobsters - no one eats them. The message of Louie is that it is lucky to be a little different.
