These days, hunting for “Lucky Stones” is one of my favorite things to do. They seem to come in all shapes and sizes and can be found literally anywhere, as long as you keep your eyes open and are willing to let yourself see things for more than what first meets the eye.

I love the feeling of hope I get when I come across something that has had a previous life and story (but is unique and potentially gorgeous). There is so much promise in looking for the beauty in these things. It is wonderful to know that with just a little bit of love and creativity, the luckiest stones can have the ability to adorn your world and brighten your life.

I believe in doing your best to lead a sustainable lifestyle, and that includes considering our habits as consumers. If we can make even a fraction of our purchases from the enormous variety of handmade/re-purposed retailers, then we are on the right track.
