You will find that I use a wide range of different metals in my jewelry. Using solid copper alloys to impart color means that they will never wear through. Some metals are harder than others of course (copper vs steel), and I keep this in mind when designing around weaker spots in my jewelry. What this means to you is that you are purchasing not just chainmaille, but wonderful examples of craftsmanship that you can pass from generation to generation.

Even my colored designs have this factor taken into account. I use enameled copper only in earring designs, where the soft-temper copper and delicate enamel will not be damaged. This EC is top quality, having been plated with silver before enameling, giving it an especially vivid and rich color. Only anodized niobium and titanium are used in high-wear pieces (bracelets) - these metals are harder and more wear-resistant. I have my own anodizing machine so I do all coloring in-house, but I don't use anodized aluminum, as it is easy to scratch and I feel there are simply better options out there for color.

I use Argentium sterling silver which is slightly more expensive, but also tarnishes much slower than traditional sterling and is a bit stronger. Ask me about making your piece in 18k gold, TruPd palladium, or platinum.

You may find that my chainmaille is slightly more expensive than you'll see elsewhere. This is because all of my pieces are masterfully crafted, with immaculate closures and only in the highest quality of materials. With the exception of split key-rings, I make all of my own supplies, from jump rings to clasps and ear wires. Essentially everything you see here started as a spool of wire in my garage! Maille is my full-time profession, rather than a hobby, leaving me the ability to perfect my art as much as possible.


For the most part, my pieces are made upon ordering and I can easily accommodate changes in the design to suit your tastes. Because I have pre-made all my supplies (imagine staring at 50 lbs of little rings) it's a simple matter to weave what you want after purchase and have it shipped out within 2 business days.
