Take a shiny, colourful rod of glass, melt it in the flame, wind the molten glass round a steel mandrel and make a bead, add more colour, wrap some silver wire, add dots or spots .. make another, and another, and ... Allow all the beads to cool in the kiln, slowly and gently, all night long, to ensure long lasting, heirloom quality glass beads, every one a special gem.
