Lux and Love will be closing for the Summer months very soon, and MOST ITEMS are now on sale and have been reduced to make way for Autumn's new and exciting creations.
Lux & Love jewellery is artisan-made in Brighton, UK using reclaimed metal, high quality charms cast from antique and vintage originals, vintage re-made jewellery and beautiful stones.
Each piece is handmade in my Brighton studio on the south coast of the UK re-using vintage jewellery, stones, charms, embellishments and curiosities that have been foraged and unearthed in flea markets and vintage sales.
I use reclaimed brass to make most of the pieces on sale, salvaged from the local metal yard. Your brooch may have had a previous life as a kick plate, fire place surround or lampshade taken from an old hotel or refurbished pub - it may even have been a vase, ashtray or plantpot.
The charms I use are casts taken from my extensive collection of antique charms. When I find one I really love, instead of simply re-selling it, I take a cast, make a mould and then I can reproduce them to fit into my favourite themes.
