Welcome to my shop! I hope you enjoy looking around. I am a knitting junkie; it is a joy for me to be able to knit! So, I am very glad to be able to share my handknit items with all of you! Most of what I knit are scarves hats and blankets, but occasionally I get a bug to try something else. Hope you enjoy all the scarves and blankets (and few hats) that I have around here!

I believe strongly that all people have the right to warm clothes, good food and proper, affordable housing. However, many people in the world, and even in our own country or city, don't get those needs met. Many people are homeless, with little or no way to provide for themselves or their families. Luckily there are many homeless shelters, churches and other organizations who do what they can to provide for those who have little. For the remainder of 2009 and probably most/all of 2010, I am going to be donating 10% of my profits each month to the local homeless shelter in my city.

During the months of October and November, I will be donating 20% of the profits from all pink items to breast cancer research.
