I bring color, light and joy to the world with my art.

I am a Silicon Valley cubicle refugee now living in the Napa Valley and expressing my creativity via kiln-formed and stained glass art. I am inspired by whimsy and play and curiosity and color - always color.

While I have always had my hands in some form of art glass has captivated my heart and soul like no other medium. Fragility and strength, rigidity and movement, transparency and opacity yield endless possibilities for the imagination.
Many pieces start with the inquiry “I wonder what would happen if . . . “and finish with the pure joy of opening the kiln and finding that the answer is "Magic".

The kiln formed glass pieces are made solely with glass. The pieces that include graphics - photos or other imagery - have been created via hand-silk screening using enamel.

All pieces are food safe. While they are sturdy enough to be washed in a dishwasher, hand washing is recommended.

These are not only decorative but functional - the glass I use is all food safe. While there may be similar items within a "theme" each individual piece is one of a kind. Many pieces can serve multiple functions as a serving piece, candle holder and vase to name a few. How you enjoy them is up to you.
