Welcome to materialised! Please take your time and have a good look around...I hope you enjoy your visit!
All the the items you'll find here have been handmade by me from scratch --- from design, right through to the finished product.
Often my pieces are 'one of a kind' and my purse and accessory designs tend to be made in only a handful of each colour way -- you can rest assured that a purchase from materialised will be something very rare, if not completely unique.
MATERIALS
I like to use an eclectic mix of fabrics. I love silk, vintage prints, and lots of colour. Recycling is very important to me too, and I use repurposed fabrics wherever possible in an effort to reduce my negative impact on the environment.
I love the challenge of creating something new from something which has been discarded. I recycle wool from felted jumpers to make brooches and purses. The silk I use was collected when I worked as a lampshade maker.

Until further notice UK shipping is free!
Delivery is by Royal Mail first class. I obtain a certificate of posting.
If you would prefer a signed for service or insurance added please contact me beforehand or at the time of buying - by writing a note in the comments to seller box at checkout. I'll then send an additional invoice to cover the extra cost.
OUTSIDE THE UNITED KINGDOM
I ship worldwide. Until further notice flat shipping rates are in operation.
European countries - £2
Everywhere else £3.
There's no additional postage cost for additional items.
I send by standard airmail and obtain a certificate of posting.If you prefer added insurance or a signed for service please ask before or when you order and I'll send an additional invoice to cover the cost.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS
Please be aware that there may be additional import duties to pay in some countries outside Europe, which are out-with my control. It is the buyer's responsibility to inform themselves of their own countries customs policy and to pay these taxes when they are due.
DISPATCH TIMES
Once you've made an order your item will normally be dispatched within 48 hours (usually within 24)
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be happy with your new purchase from materialised. However, if you're not please contact me and I'll do my best to help.
Provided you have contacted me - you have 10 days from the date on the dispatch note to return your item to receive a refund.
The buyer is responsible for the cost of returning the items.
All items must be in clean unused condition before a refund will be issued.
