I started to sew in January of 2009 and am now addicted to it. I make reusable gift wrap and bags out of cloth. Mostly because I think it's good for the environment by lessening the waste in landfills... but I also make them because I get to sew.
My cloth wrapping bags are made from natural fibers such as cotton, linen and silk - some of these bags are hand printed. Other bags are made from fabric remnants that I salvage from sale bins or mounds of scrap; these materials may not be 100% natural fibers ... I consider each bag a work of art.
