IMPORTANT NOTE: I view wildlife as our most precious and important renewable natural resource, and actively support conservation efforts. I view my work as the ultimate in recycling. I use animals harvested by trappers as nuisances due to overpopulation, which prevents disease and starvation, stillborn animals that never had a chance at life, and animals harvested for meat by hunters who have chosen to donate or sell the hides or trappers that are licensed to harvest animals to keep populations at bay. I ALWAYS refuse hides from fur farms. Wild animals should NEVER be kept in cages, which throws their natural instincs in chaos, and is terribly cruel. WILD FUR ONLY!!!! I NEVER hire anyone to slaughter an animal so that I can incorporate it into my work. I do, however, strongly support the rights of hunters and trappers. I strictly observe all Federal, State and Local laws. I view my practices as completely ethical I am truly an animal lover.

Items offered for sale are legally taken and can legally be sold in accordance with the laws of New York. If the buyer is not a resident of New York State, it is his/her responsibility to find out whether the item may be possessed in his/her state. When an order is placed, it will be assumed that the item may be imported and possessed by you in accordance with your state laws. In the event the buyer purchases an item that he cannot legally possess, Melissa Dixson will hold the buyer responsible for all legal fees and penalties. When in doubt, call your local office of fish and wildlife!
