For the past five years I have been creating the gorgeous bags you see here. I began sewing bags for children because I wanted to share my message with the world.

As a parent, I am disheartened by mass-production and sweatshop mentality. I am shocked by stories in the news about dangerous chemicals in products for kids. I am disgusted by big businesses over-commercializing children with characters slapped on everything.

My goal is to:
feed our children's imaginations with non-commercial character items,
encourage independence and responsibility for looking after own things,
feel good about producing eco-friendly bags made in a sustainable way,
support small businesses.
