Welcome to Merrydale, home of elves, gnomes, fairies, marionettes, dress-up dolls and ponies, handmade from natural materials.

All the dolls, inspired by the Steiner/Waldorf education tradition of dollmaking, are designed and handmade by myself.

They are always stuffed with new, clean, carded sheep's wool. I use natural materials when possible, but check out the description of individual dolls for more details.

The dolls are made with new fabrics, but they have usually been washed before sewing to prevent shrinkage etc.

Each doll is unique.
