I can inspire learning, I can give hope to those in need, and I can empower a community—see what the power of mi can do for we.

Inspiration is one of the most fundamental concepts of learning. A child’s inspiration can come from many different sources, such as a parent, teacher, or role model who instills a sense of hope and determination in a child to better both themselves and their community. We derive inspiration, however, not just from the people who touch our lives, but from innovative products we use every day that invigorate our minds and incite our creativity. The most valuable objects for our future generations will be those that strike a perfect balance between function and inspiration. We’d like to introduce you to that product: the mi.desk.

Inside every classroom, students are surrounded by objects that challenge them to think and interact with the world in new and exciting ways. Why not give them a product which pushes them to explore, to ask questions, and most importantly, one that will inspire them to incorporate learning into every facet of their lives? Our desk is more than a functional classroom component—its compact features, complex artistic elements, and lightweight construction create a perfect educational space for children ages 3 and up. Each desk can be customized using three designs—alphabet letters, paw prints, and shapes and sizes—which will stimulate children as they embark on the day’s lessons. Our design is also a space-saver in busy and small classroom spaces—the chair fits entirely underneath the desk, increasing the size of shared space for both students and educators.

Although designed for classroom use, our desk will complement any home or residential child’s room. Learning does not just occur inside the classroom—children build upon their educational lessons from the classroom in their free time, when their creativity is often heightened. The playful elements of our desk will blend in with a child’s existing space, and keep them entertained while serving as a functional furniture addition.
