Gallery of artwork of still lifes and flowers including floral paintings of sunflowers, poppies, tulips and peonies. My artwork is done in a loose an impressionistic style. This gallery includes paintings of koi fish as well as cats, ducks and peacocks. I take inspiration from nature visiting local zoos or painting pets that I know. I also welcome custom commissions of your cat, dog or even pet rat.

Whenever I travel I bring along my sketchbook and camera so I can record ideas for future artworks. I also live in New York City's backyard making that a frequent subject but I also have paintings of Puerto Rico, Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod.

I am probably best known for my figurative paintings. These have been the most widely collected of my subjects online and I can brag of collectors all over the world. All of the drawings are done from life with a live model. The finished paintings are completed with more careful work in the studio, also using a live model. I welcome your intimate commissions.

I am happy to mat my small watercolors ( up to 14x20") for you. My reasonable matting price will save you considerable money as the matted size will allow you to slip your newly purchased artwork into a standard sized frame without the expense of custom framing.
