Hi! I'm Tristen and I'm the owner, designer, and maker at mirabeans. Using upcycled sweaters and other reclaimed textiles, I create one-of-a-kind clothing and accessories for men, women, and children.

My passion has always been sustainable fashion and a desire to create items not found in mainstream fashion. As a teen, I began transforming pre-loved garments into something new while creating as little waste as possible. This hobby slowly evolved into a business and I've been converting ugly sweaters into timeless pieces ever since!

My collection includes fingerless gloves, mittens, flip-top mittens, arm and leg warmers, hats, totes, decor and more. Each item is unique and handmade with attention to detail, colour, and originality.

In 2020, I decided to begin dividing my shop. I'm slowly moving my upcycled sweater creations over to my own website, while keeping my Etsy shop stocked with the ever-popular jersey knit arm warmers. I'm sure there will be some cross-over in items but this is the direction I'm headed!
