10% of my shop's profit will be donated to a missionary in India. I learned of this missionary from close friends of mine who recently visited him. He is desperately raising funds as fast as he can to build an orphanage and school. In the area he is in, young girls who are orphaned are sold in to sex slavary by their grandparents or other relatives. Females are believed to be of no value other than the money they bring by selling them. I am in the process of creating a special ornament to be sold at my craft shows and online in hopes that my customers and I can help this missionary get this orphanage up and running. All of the profits from this special ornament will be donated to the orphanage. The 10% will be from anything else in my shop. The longer it takes to get this built the more girls are going to be sold to a horrible life of slavery.
