Playhouse construction time is currently about 3 weeks, plus 3 business days for shipping within the US. Smaller toy shipment is in about 2 weeks from purchase at this time unless you have spoken to me about needing it sooner. I can usually accommodate a rush order if you need an item sooner than my stated delivery time, but please contact me BEFORE you make your purchase so I can check my sewing calendar for earlier availability.

Why only felt playhouses? The number one reason is because cotton playhouses (or playhouses made with other types of woven fabrics, like canvas or home decor fabric) wrinkle TERRIBLY when folded up and stored between play times, and they can rip easily during play. Who wants to iron a wrinkly playhouse???!! Your high quality felt playhouse will look beautiful and hang perfectly on your table every time you take it out to play. These playhouses (like all playhouses, even COTTON OR CANVAS playhouses) should not be put in the wash machine, but they can be spot washed. Playhouse windows and doors will stretch/rip under the force of the wash machine's movement. Believe me, I have made playhouses out of every type of fabric, and thousands of kids have tested them!! Look at the photos of cotton or canvas playhouses. Do they look unwrinkled? Do they look as if they fit the table perfectly? Usually not. A couple of days packed away in a closet and a cotton playhouse looks terrible. My daughter would say "Not THAT house, Mommy, it's all wrinkly" when I would bring out her canvas playhouse. In addition, all of my customers (many of them repeat buyers) prefer felt playhouses over 300 to 1, so I no longer make cotton playhouses. My customers know that felt is the best for fort fun!!
