I am a printmaker by training with a BFA from Otago Polytechnic School of Art.
I am also a freelance graphic designer, a photographer, a painter, a gardener, a cake decorator, a general crafter, a jewellery maker, a collector etc. Watch this space
Selling cards at the moment is my income, I work part-time only due to living with an auto-immune condition. This has spurred me back into being more creative. I also make Artist Trading Cards ATC - which you can see on 'Swap-bot' or on my FLICKR photostream. I write a blog for inspiration, often about living with arthritis as a young person.
I am starting a little community market in Plimmerton, the seaside village where I live. Once I get past the paperwork of Resource Consents and health licences we'll hopefully be up and running by late Oct early Nov. Feel free to contact me if you would like me to sell craft on your behalf or if you'd like a stall at the market. We are trying really hard to be eco-minded and sustainable in this new venture so any ideas or experiences you've had are also appreciated. We've had heaps of interest and offers of support so far, so I'm really really excited to get going soon. My stall apart from the craft side of things will also have a foody element because I love to bake, appreciate eating and feeding others... I kind of see it as another art form.
