My glass and artwork focus on the use of reclaimed and scrap materials. It has been collected worldwide and is featured in galleries such as Carlyn Galerie and the Chartreuse Muse. It can also be found online at the ArtfulHome.com.
My "River" series is a body of work developed using recycled window glass. It is named for its heavy texture and unexpected depth, which give the appearance of precious metals beneath a clear flowing river. The warm, tactile nature of the work invites viewers to touch and explore each piece. Because each piece is handmade, no two are exactly alike.

About the Artist:
I am a life-long student of the arts and crafts movement that was popular at the turn of the last century. This movement was a response to the industrial revolution’s machine-made signature on daily life. At the time, artisans were celebrated and revered for bringing excellent design to common household objects, making fine art accessible to everyone. In our current culture of mass-produced imports, I believe this movement is as relevant today as it was a century ago.
