Momma Loves Baby started when I was pregnant with my first little boy. I was ecstatic to be pregnant and looked forward to shopping for my little sweet pea (after all my husband and I waited 9 years before having kids), but I was underwhelmed to say the least by the limited selection and themes available for baby boy clothing. From that, inspiration grew and my inherent need to create found a match made in heaven, in handmade applique designed shirts and baby bodysuits.
I am a super blessed momma with two amazingly imaginative little boys and a hilarious and kind hearted husband. I work from my home studio creating fun and special handmade clothing for your little ones. Sometimes I get help from my 4 year old and 8 year old. If your envelope has a stamp(s) on it that would be them ;-)
Before having kids I dabbled in photography, painting, woodworking, mosaic tiling, ceramics and of course sewing, all for the fun of it. I double majored with a B.A. in Media Arts and a B.S. in Instruction Design and Technology. Having my boys has changed my life in the most amazing of ways, one of which is Momma Loves Baby.
There is something very special about handmade. Handmade means it has gotten a little more attention, a little more soul, and a lot more love and that is just a special thing in today’s protocol of industrial manufacturing. I am always honored when I get to make something special for a little one. As a creator I aspire to make fun, dapper and super cute shirts and baby bodysuits. As a mom of two boys I choose quality materials that wash well and will hold up to playful and energetic kiddos. If life is truly about the journey, I hope you all are enjoying it!
