Summer Sale! Most of my books have been marked down for the summer. New merchandise in the next few weeks including some more metal journals.

Welcome to my Etsy Store an annex of forgottentoybox.com. I love to make coptic style books. Coptic Books are wonderful, because not only do you get to see the pretty spines, but they also lay very flat when open. Most of my books contain heavy 100 percent cotton printmakers paper, which means nearly any media you work in will work with these journals. So, if you're heavy handed with gesso, or light as a feather with pencil... it doesn't matter! Create away!

Each Book is lovingly made by me, in my studio. Everything is hand done from the cutting of the boards, to the hand torn paper, to the very time consuming cover designs. I like my journals to be not only very functional but also art that you can display when not in use. Your thoughts and artwork deserve something beautiful.
