~~How I Felt~~
The process in making my felted bowls bags and toys are simple. I first crochet them larger than what they will end up being after I have put them through a hot load or two in the wash machine where they will shrink down, fuzz up and be more firm. I sometimes wet felt them more by hand till desired affect. I then shape them by hand and allow to dry for about half a day, or overnight depending on the weather and when I felted them.:) For the felted acorns and eggs, I crochet them too, put through a hot wash and then felt them more by hand, shape and dry. :)
*Knitted items will soon be added to my creations as well! I retaught myself how to knit again.:) I first learned how to knit in the 5th grade in a "mini-course" class and I made myself a pair of slippers. For some reason, after that, I didn't pick up the needles again and instead went for the crochet hooks.:) I do love the look of knit items too so I thought that I'd try my hand at it again. So far so good.:)
