My fairy houses began as an idea I carried around for years, but once I sat down and started building- I couldn't stop!
A word about fae and forest spirits (fairies/faeries/wee folk/devas):
You can appeal to the fae for many favors, such as finding lost items, having good dreams, healing from illnesses, and attracting the right people and opportunities in your life. They love offerings like tiny cups of spirits, ale, tea or honey. They also appreciate shiny or interesting trinkets like old keys, marbles and stones, or even seasonal offerings like flower blooms or fall leaves. But disgruntled fae become nasty tricksters, hiding your things, terrorizing your pets, disorganizing your home and wreaking general havoc. Tend to their needs and they’ll do the same for you!
