Welcome to Mosaic Elegance, featuring art glass mosaics by Susan Blume. In addition to the items shown in my ETSY shop, I am happy to discuss custom projects. Whether it is a custom portrait of a favorite pet, a favorite place, view, or theme, we can discuss turning your idea into a beautiful piece of art. If you want to incorporate mosaics into your home decorating and design, I am happy to discuss custom backsplashes for your kitchen or bath, borders for your mirrors, or accent tiles. If you would like to add a unique touch to your garden, I am happy to work with you on designs for stepping stones, bird baths, or gazing balls.

Recently I have added photographs taken by my brother, Will, while he and his wife, Linda, lived in Europe. She worked as a teacher in Feldkirch, Austria, and he worked in several eastern European countries, consulting with newspaper staffs on the subject of free press, which for many generations had not existed due to strong government control over content. As he travelled, Will kept an extensive journal (log on to http://www.looksheep.com/), took lots of pictures, and became fascinated with faces that were sculpted into buildings in all the cities he visited. The photographs of these faces (a collection I am calling Euro Faces) are offered in my ETSY shop.
