MountainGirlQuilts's Shop Announcement

There is no place more beautiful... no place more inspiring for my art than North Carolina - particularly in the Fall. and Inspiration for my art is drawn from the brilliant colors of Nature -- that surround me everywhere I go.

My quilted and fiber art pieces are created and stitched with the finest fabrics, fibers and threads I have collected during my ramblings through Appalachian quilt shops, Smokey Mountain fiber stores and Atlantic Beach fabric boutiques. All quilts are washed the morning prior to shipping in organic soap for purity and softness and to enhance the essence of heirloom quilting.

All of my quilts come with a beautiful 3" wide organza bow and sweet custom label sewn on the back -- made to coordinate with the quilt that indicates the name of the recipient, the date, and if you like, your name as the "giver."

Custom quilt orders are welcome. If you have a design and/or particular theme or color scheme you would love to see made into a Mountain Girl Quilt, wall hanging or fiber art piece -- convo me. With Christmas coming – the sooner the better.
