Growing up, I found inspiration stashed in my Mom's sewing desk and my Dad's workbench for my creative projects. When I wasn't crafting, I'd play in the woods or the creek, and along the way developed a deep appreciation for our living earth.

I eventually found myself sort of back where I began – creating and designing at my own workbench, and impassioned about respecting our environment. In 2009, I started selling my handmade wirework jewellery locally in Calgary Alberta, and named my business “Corabella” after my Oma.

Sourcing genuine copper and solid brass chain and findings was an ongoing challenge. I began making my own wirework components, secured suppliers of quality materials, and soon after opened this supply shop.

My copper and brass chain, and wire in handcrafted components, is sourced as “locally” as possible, supporting family-owned manufacturers in Canada and the USA. Some components I make entirely from reclaimed copper electrical wire. I supply only what meets my high standards for quality and what I would use and wear myself.
