We are a small family run business operated from our home in the forest in Australia. All fabric is exclusive to us! We aim to run our business ethically by using organic cottons wherever possible.
There have also been supply issues with the black fabric we use on the reverse so if you are buying multiple covers there may be slight differences in the feel and look of the fabric but both are organic cotton. We are also in the process of changing the cloth labels we use on the reverse of the covers so again if you order multiple covers the label may be different.
The world map cushions and world map wall hangings are sometimes made to order, everything else is sewn and ready to ship unlesss it says otherwise on the listing. We recommend spot cleaning or gentle / hand wash only in cold water , this will help the colours stay vibrant and gorgeous for a lo time.
Part of what makes our cushion covers so great is that the fabric is exclusive to us, that is why we don't sell the fabric by itself.
Payment
PAYING THE PIGEON:
All payment is by paypal only. Orders will be reserved for 48 hours only.
You do not need a PayPal Account to pay for your items through PayPal:
You can choose the PayPal Option during checkout. After you submit your order click the "Pay Now" button. On the right hand side of the next page you will see 2 options, the 2nd one is to pay using a Credit or Debit Card WITHOUT having to sign up for a PayPal account. Select paypal NOT "other" to pay by credit card.
Payment directly from your bank account, known as an e-cheque by paypal can take up to 10 working days to clear so postage will be delayed until this time.

Payment must be made in full and have cleared before the item is shipped. If you are having any issues with PayPal, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will assist you in anyway that we can.
Customers in Australia can pay by direct bank transfer if they wish, please contact us if you want to use this method.
Australian customers please note GST is already included in the price of all cushions.
Shipping
We post 2-3times a week to the address given to us by Etsy not paypal. If for some reason the order is returned to us because the address given on Etsy was incorrect postage will need to be paid again before we re-post the order. If the address provided is incorrect ( or an old one) we cannot be responsible if the order goes missing. As stated on all the listings we sell the COVERS ONLY to keep the shipping costs down and to keep our Pigeons from getting to tired!
We are only to happy to add cards or notes to the package but we do not gift wrap. We do not send a receipt with the item ( as you would have received an email from etsy and paypal at time of purchase) however we do have to write the amount the package is worth on the green customs form that is placed on the outside of the envelope. Please understand that marking "gift" on the customs form will get us into big trouble! Customs do spot checks and we risk heavy fines if we are caught giving false information. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Pigeon posting times:
Australia wide: up to 7 days
USA Canada and UK : 7- 15\ 20working days
Europe: 15-20working days.
Asia : 14 days
Australia Post does not track parcels but many countries scan the barcode (on the customs form on the front) when the parcel arrives in your country. We know the US (mostly) does this, so you can track the parcel from when it arrives in your country with your postal service. We will provide this number on all overseas parcels. Sometimes the barcode is not scanned,again we have no control over this.
Once a package is shipped we can not be responsible if your package does not arrive in time for a special occasion. We ask that you are aware of these postage times and conditions prior to placing your order. If you do not receive your package please notify us within 30days of ordering.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
Note: When your package arrives, if you live in Europe outside the UK you may have to pay additional customs fees or import taxes for which you are responsible. We unfortunately have no control over these fees and of course do not receive any further payment, if you think this may be the case or you have not ordered from overseas before please check with your post office prior to ordering. At times some European countries can delay items in customs for over a week- again, we have no control over this.
Refunds and Exchanges
If your order is faulty in any way you can return the item to us in its original condition. If you are returning an item please keep proof of delivery and the item needs to be posted back within 7 days of you receiving it- but obviously we don't need to receive it in 7 days.

Additional Policies and FAQs
Convo us or email us at mybeardedpigeon [!at] gmail.com if you have any questions. If a place is already listed that is the only map we will be printing of that place. Unfortunately we cannot change the colour of the maps or match them to your sofa.
Their may be slight differences in colour variation from your computer to the actual fabric. All pictures are taken in natural light. There may be slight differences in size but all cushions are suitable for 16 inch/ 41cm insert/ pillow form.
The fabric is digitally printed, not a transfer, so the design is part of the fabric. We recommend spot cleaning or gentle hand wash to help keep the colours vibrant.
If you would like multiple maps but they are not all available please let us know and we can set up one listing for all of them. If an item is sold out we can generally make up another one within a week or 2.
All fabric can be reprinted, so if you see something you like but it has sold, just ask.
