The name comes from a conversation I had with my cousin Kim. We were talking about baby names shortly after we had both had beautiful baby boys. I said that if I had a girl, I really liked the name Whimsy. She rolled her eyes and said, "Thank God you didn't have a girl!" So, I decided if I can't have a baby girl named Whimsy, I'd at least have an Etsy shop named Whimsy!

In this shop you will find both handmade and vintage finds. I love treasure hunting and creating.
Many of my pieces are made using recycled or thrifted materials.
Crafting "green" makes me feel good. It may just make you feel good too!

I love to make things...all kinds of things. I hope you enjoy both, looking at and using what I have made and found!
