You can also request information on drying your own flowers if you choose to do so and for information on keeping your flowers fresh until you can send them in.

F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions)

FLOWERS

• Should I send fresh or dried flowers? You can send fresh or dry, however if you send fresh, I can dry them professionally and they will retain more of their natural, fresh color.

o What if I would like to dry my own flowers? Please request my Flower Drying Guidelines.

o Can I send old flowers? The age of your flowers does not matter as long as they are not molded.

• Can I send artificial flowers? You can send Silk, Fabric, Plastic Flowers (or wood if they are already cut up in pieces).

• Can I send in my flowers and have certain flowers go into specific items?
o Flowers from the same event – Use personalization box upon purchase to let me know colors/types for each keepsake.

o Flowers from different events - Separate your flowers in different labeled paper envelopes/labeled wraps of paper towels.

• Can I send in all of my flowers and have the extras returned? Only send in flowers/petals needed for your order based on the petal quantities given on my Instruction Sheet. Extras will not be processed (my instruction sheet asks for about 3 times what I normally need so I will have extras to choose the best petals or parts of the petals).

KEEPSAKE INFO

• What else can be embedded in my keepsake? (Multiple types of materials can be added w/o changing the pricing)
*Greenery/Floral Filler and other botanical elements * Fabric/Lace * Beads/Pearls/Charms etc. (clear beads do not show up)
* Sand/Shells (crushed unless in large keepsake) * Hair/Fur/Cremains (hair/fur can darken in resin as if it were wet)

At naturesadornments.com, I offer keepsakes made w/any type of cremains. I do not need to know the type of cremains if you order via Etsy.

• Can color be added to my keepsake? Tints are available, mixed custom. Glitters, Metallic Powders or Gold or Silver Leaf are also available. You can request a swatch photo of my Metallic Powder colors (the photo would not include the gold, silver and bronze).

• Which beads will fit a Pandora Style Bracelet? All of my European style beads (beads with grommet in hole) will fit on a Pandora style bracelet. The 16mm x 10mm, The larger Barrel and Tube Beads are great for stringing on a chain or a cord for a necklace.

MISC.

• How long will it take to receive my order? Your estimated order completion time will be 2-4 weeks from the time I receive your keepsake materials. Estimated order completion time starts upon receipt of your keepsake materials. If further orders are made to be competed with the same keepsake materials already received, your orders will ship together and the completion date is based on the date of your last order.

• Can I call to ask questions? I do not have a business phone number. I prefer to keep all discussion via the messaging system so that I can have it for future reference and to avoid confusion.

• Can I drop off my flowers? Because I work out of a home-studio, for security and zoning reasons, clients are not able to drop off flowers or pick up orders. Flowers and orders must be shipped.

• Do you offer Rush Orders? Please see my Additions Section for my Rush Order listings. If they are not listed, I am not able to offer rush orders at this time.

• Do you offer Quantity Discounts? Due to the handmade, time intensive nature of my keepsake items and my extensive order backlog, I am not able to offer quantity discounts.

• Can you send photos of my keepsake(s) before shipping? Due to my extensive order backlog and working hours, for efficiency and so all orders can be completed and shipped in a timely manner, I am not able to send photos of keepsakes.

 Upon purchase, please include in the personalization box for each item any information/details previously discussed to ensure your order is completed correctly. Details discussed after your order is made will be noted manually on your invoice.

 Orders must have correct shipping address. If you would like your order shipped to an address other than is associated with your Etsy account, you must change the shipping address to your recipient’s address. If you request a different address than is on your invoice’s shipping address, your order will need to be cancelled and reordered to ensure it is mailed correctly.

 Try to purchase all of your items together on one invoice if possible. If more than 1 order is made to be competed with the same keepsake materials, you must mention in the “notes to seller” section on later orders to ensure that all invoices/orders are completed and are not left behind when I receive your materials. If an order is made after I receive your materials, your order completion date is based on the date of your last order.

Number of Petals Needed - Flowers, Petals, Leaves and other elements can be sent.

* Below quantities include extra so I can pick the best parts of the petals.

Beads / Sm Pendants / Rings: * Lg Petals (Lilies) - 3 Petals * Med Petals (Roses) - 6 Petals * Sm Petals (Carnations) – 12 Petals

Lg Pendants / Accessories: * Lg Petals (Lilies) - 6 Petals * Med Petals (Roses) - 12 Petals * Sm Petals (Carnations) – 24 Petals

Lg Ornaments or Accessories / Bracelets * Lg Petals (Lilies) - 12 Petals * Med Petals (Roses) - 24 Petals * Sm Petals (Carnations) – 48 Petals

If you do not think you have enough petals, I can add some greenery or other filler to your keepsake.
Otherwise there can just be empty space in your keepsake for more light to show through.

Only Flowers/Petals needed for your order can be processed. Extra flowers will be discarded.
Please remove Ribbon and Pins unless you want them to be used in your keepsake items.


FRESH FLOWERS

* Try not to ship over the weekend so they do not get caught up at the post office over Sunday. If needed, you can store your fresh flowers in the refrigerator until you ship them. Make sure they do not freeze (you may request further guidelines if necessary).

* Do not ask for signature receipt to prevent your flowers from returning to the post office. This can be very bad for your flowers, especially in very hot weather.

* If sending fresh flowers, you can leave your flowers intact and loosely wrapped with at least 3 or 4 layers of DRY paper towels. Place in a paper envelope or cardboard box. DO NOT use any envelopes with plastic lining. Do not use bubble wrap, plastic bags or any type of plastic. Try not to pack the flowers too tightly so they can have room for air to circulate.

* If your flowers are NOT COMPLETELY DRY, mail via the fastest way possible that you feel is affordable to you. The condition of your flowers will directly affect the outcome of your keepsake(s). This is especially important in hotter months.

* Please send only the amount of flowers that are needed for your order as listed above. Extras will be discarded.


DRIED FLOWERS

* If drying your own flowers, take them apart or they may mold inside. This is common in roses and other thick, layered flowers.

* Please place your dried petals in several layers of paper towels and place in your mailing envelope or box. Do not use any envelopes with plastic lining, bubble wrap or plastic bags unless your flowers are totally dry. Even if your flowers feel dry, they can sweat and condensate if in plastic during transit degrading them further.

* If your flowers are COMPLETELY DRY, you may send your flowers via regular mail as long as you follow the above instructions.

* Please try to send only the amount of flowers that are needed for your order as listed above.

For PRESSED Keepsakes

* Flowers must be fresh. Send in as soon and as quickly as possible. The only exception is if you have already pressed your flowers.



For RELIEF (3D) Keepsakes

* Flowers can be fresh or dry (if in good shape). If fresh, send in as soon and as quickly as possible.

* Please place your keepsake material in a double plastic baggie and ship in a padded envelope (padded envelope is especially important with cremains).

Hair / Fur

* Send enough hair/fur to fill your keepsake plus a bit extra if you have it (any length), making sure it is free from dirt or debris.

* Keep in mind that your Hair or Fur may look different in your keepsake.
· Hair and Fur tends to darken in Resin as if it were wet (White does not darken).
· With Black Fur and Hair it is more difficult to see the texture/individual hairs.

Cremains

* Please send approx. 1 Tbsp of Cremains per bead or small pendant. Approx. 1/8 cup for larger Ornaments.
* Aquamation cremains keepsakes will be cloudy unlike the keepsake sample photos in my listings..

I can add Color to your keepsake several different ways.

1. Tint in the color of your choice. Colors mixed custom so no swatch samples are available. You are welcome to send photo example of the color you would like. If white is needed to lighten a tint for your custom color, it will make the tint more opaque, and your keepsake materials will not be seen quite as much depending on the color of your Fur/Hair or Cremains.

2. Glitter in the color of your choice (if I do not already have it, I can get it)

3. Silver or Gold Leaf.

4. Metallic Powder in the color of your choice. Normal metals colors and many others. Swatch photo available upon request. Swatch will not include regular metals colors. Base colors can be mixed to make custom colors.

5. Dried Moss to your keepsake for a lovely earthy look. Available in Sage Green and Tan.

All of the above would create a totally different look and none or any combination of the above add to the pricing of your keepsake(s)

6. Flower Flakes from my library of dried flowers (may change pricing).

7. If you would like a two-toned look for a Resin Band Style Ring either because you want a clean separation of different materials or you want two different tint colors, I offer a Duo-Toned Resin Band listing in both my 6mm wide and my 9mm wide rings.

* Fur or Hair will affect any tints added to your keepsake…exp. Dark fur will make a bright tint appear darker.

* Cremains may make dark tints appear lighter.

* Any unused portion of your hair, fur or cremains will be returned with your completed order.

* Upon purchase, please include in the personalization box for each item any information/details previously discussed to ensure your order is completed correctly. Details discussed after your order is made will be noted manually on your invoice.

* Orders must have correct shipping address. If you would like your order shipped to an address other than is associated with your Etsy account, you must change the shipping address to your recipient’s address. If you request a different address than is on your invoice’s shipping address, your order will need to be cancelled and reordered to ensure it is mailed correctly.

* Try to purchase all of your items together on one invoice if possible. If more than 1 order is made to be competed with the same keepsake materials, you must mention in the “notes to seller” section on later orders to ensure that all invoices/orders are completed and are not left behind when I receive your materials. If an order is made after I receive your materials, your order completion date is based on the date of your last order.

* Contact me when your keepsake materials are in the mail so I can be looking out for them. I will update you upon receipt, giving you your estimated order completion date which is 2-4 weeks from the receipt of your materials.

* Please check your Etsy account settings to make sure your messages are also sent to your regular email by going into your Account Settings and clicking on Emails. Check the box that allows an email notification to be sent when you are sent an Etsy conversation. This will avoid any order delays if I have any questions about your order preferences during production.

* Please place your keepsake material in a double plastic baggie and ship in a padded envelope (padded envelope is especially important with cremains).

Hair / Fur

* Send enough hair/fur to fill your keepsake plus a bit extra if you have it (any length), making sure it is free from dirt or debris.

* Keep in mind that your Hair or Fur may look different in your keepsake.
· Hair and Fur tends to darken in Resin as if it were wet (White does not darken).
· With Black Fur and Hair it is more difficult to see the texture/individual hairs.

Cremains

* Please send approx. 1 Tbsp of Cremains per bead or small pendant. Approx. 1/8 cup for larger Ornaments.
* Aquamation cremains keepsakes will be cloudy unlike the keepsake sample photos in my listings..

I can add Color to your keepsake several different ways.

1. Tint in the color of your choice. Colors mixed custom so no swatch samples are available. You are welcome to send photo example of the color you would like. If white is needed to lighten a tint for your custom color, it will make the tint more opaque, and your keepsake materials will not be seen quite as much depending on the color of your Fur/Hair or Cremains.

2. Glitter in the color of your choice (if I do not already have it, I can get it)

3. Silver or Gold Leaf.

4. Metallic Powder in the color of your choice. Normal metals colors and many others. Swatch photo available upon request. Swatch will not include regular metals colors. Base colors can be mixed to make custom colors.

5. Dried Moss to your keepsake for a lovely earthy look. Available in Sage Green and Tan.

All of the above would create a totally different look and none or any combination of the above add to the pricing of your keepsake(s)

6. Flower Flakes from my library of dried flowers (may change pricing).

7. If you would like a two-toned look for a Resin Band Style Ring either because you want a clean separation of different materials or you want two different tint colors, I offer a Duo-Toned Resin Band listing in both my 6mm wide and my 9mm wide rings.

* Fur or Hair will affect any tints added to your keepsake…exp. Dark fur will make a bright tint appear darker.

* Cremains may make dark tints appear lighter.

* Any unused portion of your hair, fur or cremains will be returned with your completed order.
