I have been a professional artist for many years now. I work in all types of media. One week I will just do collage, the next I will paint. I usually work in series. I have a "redhead" series, a New York Times series, crows in famous paintings series and more. I am a real fan of heavily textured backgrounds. At least one morning per week I just add items and layers of paint to canvas. Books have always been a big part of my life and I like to cut out phrases or words to create phrases in my work. It's like telling a little story with my pieces.
