I am not taking special orders right now, but I will start again on June 15. Then I will take special orders until I get 10 to 15 orders at which point I will stop taking orders until the 15th of the following month. I am skipping May since I am behind on special orders and I need to get caught up before taking any more. However, I always take not-so-special orders, meaning that you can order a Tibetan or Russian spindle and specify the size, but I pick the wood. Then when the spindle is completed, you are under no obligation to purchase it, but it will be reserved for you so you have the option of purchasing it.

My inventory is pretty well depleted due to the demand for support spindles. I hope to continue making support spindles as well as boxes, bowls, tops and jewelry holders.

I have several sources of wood. I sometimes use wood from local trees that had to be removed or trimmed. Another source is wood from old buildings that are being demolished. I also use exotic and domestic wood that I buy from dealers who sell lumber from sustainable and responsible harvests.

Texas residents will be charged an additional 8.25% for sales tax.
