Welcome to K'obi where you can buy items made from original 100% kimono and obi silk.

EMBROIDERED ART
Original pieces of art hand embroidered using traditional Japanese embroidery techniques and using high quality 100% silk thread and kimono silk. Large pieces can take many, many hours of work to embroider so along with the large pieces I am aiming to list here, I'm in the process of designing some smaller pieces.

OBI BAGS - hangbags with a difference
Made from vintage obi or kimono silk each bag is unique and is designed to show off the beauty of the fabric and its decoration. If you are looking for a handbag for a special event and would like a specific colour or decoration, please get in touch and I will see what I can find.
As much advance notice for this as possible is required as I source all obi and kimono fabric from Japan, so need time to search, buy, and ship.

I'll ship recorded delivery in the UK, everywhere else will be air mail small packets.

EXCHANGE RATES - given the fluctuating exchange rates between pounds sterling and the dollar at the moment I may occasionally have to update prices (up or down) to reflect this.
