nillakitty's Shop Announcement

Widdershins usually means "counterclockwise", but sometimes means a direction which is against the light, i.e. where you are unable to see your shadow. It comes from the German "widersinnig", i.e., "against" + "sense".

I sell a variety of handmade items such as jewelry, paintings and handknit patterns and objects. I like "widdershins" (as in "against" + "sense") in relation to my objects because beautiful, decorative things have nothing to do with the necessities of life. Just how I like it.

Please keep in mind that I do not always have internet access on weekends. However, I will contact all purchases and inquiries in a timely manner!
