~Confused about Palm Oil? Palm oil is a needed commodity for many small farmers to making a living for their family. These farmers from South America farm their own land for their valuable palm oil and not through deforestation. My palm oil does not come from corporations for profit. It is fair trade, organic and food grade-not processed using chemicals and comes from small scale family farmers.

~My Shea Butter is completely natural, unrefined "raw" shea butter and carries USDA NOP organic certification with the natural latex removed. Suitable for latex sensitive individuals.

~Info on the use of preservatives. You must have a preservative system in all products containing water. Otherwise the self life is a maximum of 3-4 days. Molds, fungi and yeast are present in all environments and without the use of a preservative these contaminants can work their way into the product at any time. Whether it be during the creating process, the shipping, or in the use of the product in your own home. This can lead to skin infections, eye infections, health problems and even hospitalization. Inexperienced crafters who do not do their own testing could possibly be selling products that are not fit for consumer use. Please be aware of this and purchase wisely.

Essential oil blends can be effective preservatives and are used in my creations when commercial preservatives are not desired. The creams must still be refrigerated for your safety.

Please Be Aware: Many soapers have melt and pour ingredients. These are from premade bases that are bought from another source. It is hard to know what and where the ingredients come from and these ingredients are known as irritants to some. Look for ingredients listed in your soaps like these: sorbitol (moisturizer/emollient), sorbitan oleate (emulsifier), and Glycine Soja Protein (soybean)(conditioner). These are always listed in melt and pour bases. The second two ingredients are technically fillers and are actually drying to most skin types especially very sensitive. Sorbitan is always listed with sorbitan oleate and glycine soja protein. Sorbital when added to soaps creates a drying effect. You can not experience a drying effect from a high quality, all natural cold process soap. Please choose saponified oils and never use soybean oil on your skin-soybean oil is high in phytic acid and can pull minerals away from your skin and is toxic to our environment. Soy products are only beneficial when fermented like the Asian cultures have done for centuries.

All paper products are recycled, glass is used when possible, and I support recycling/re-purposing of all packaging materials.
