I'm excited to announce my latest group of cloisonne enameled pieces called "The Spiral Collection."

I've based these pieces on colorful, organic forms that seem to float over pools of texture and light.

In this collection you will see a combination of cloisonne and baisse taille techniques. In cloisonne precious metal wire is formed into cloisons to hold the enamel. Baise taille allows a textured surface to show through transparent enamel thereby enhancing the play of light across the surface. I take traditional enameling a step further into an abstract approach.

Although the techniques are ancient my approach is contemporary.
