Thank you for your interest in Leviviridae! All of our products are 100% hand made in the U.S.A.
Here at Leviviridae, we truly strive to make our customers happy and bring them the best possible quality products at the lowest prices we can manage.
To avoid any conflicts and ensure a smooth and simple transaction, we insist that you get all of your questions answered BEFORE making your final purchase. All items in our shop will be relisted as soon as they are sold, so you never have to be afraid of the item you want disappearing. As such, all we ask is that if you have a question regarding the item (specifically one that might affect your purchase quantity or shipping costs) that you be patient and wait for an answer before submitting your purchase. We always respond to our customers in a timely manner.
Please only contact us if you are completely serious about purchasing. We work very hard and are always very busy, yet we are constantly answering messages from people who never revisit the topic they addressed. We are, of course, very happy to help you and communicate if you are truly interested in commissioning us or requesting a custom item, but if you have no intentions of actually carrying through with it, then we ask that you please not message us. Our time is very valuable to us and to our paying customers.
Payment
Paying via Paypal will ensure than your item reaches you in a timely fashion. If you are paying via Paypal eCheck, then it will take a bit longer, as we will wait to ship your item(s) until the eCheck has cleared.
If you choose to pay via money order, then we strongly advise you to contact us beforehand and let us know of your intentions. In the event of a money order, we will allow up to 10 days for its arrival. If the ten days pass and no money order is received, we will attempt to contact you. You will be given 3 days to respond. If, after three days, we hear nothing from you, the order will be terminated, and a complaint will be filed.
Shipping
We only ever ship via USPS unless the customer specifies (and offers to pay for) a different method of shipping. All packages are shipped using the standard first class (3 day) shipping. If you need an upgrade, or you would like the package insured, then it is your responsibility to request and pay for these things.
If you live outside of North America, it could take up to two weeks for your package to arrive, so please be patient and do not send us personal messages asking where your package is. It is your responsibility to keep tabs on the status of your order. If it is marked as "shipped," then it is on its way to you. Please do not send us messages asking whether your item has been shipped.
If your item (under $15) gets lost in the mail, you will not be asked to repurchase the item, however you WILL be asked to pay adequate shipping costs. If you openly refuse to pay for shipping, then you will not receive a replacement. Items which get lost in the mail are neither your fault nor ours, and if we're replacing your item free of charge, then it is only fair that you pay to have it shipped with delivery confirmation to ensure that history does not repeat itself.
Refunds and Exchanges
As you know, all of our items are completely hand made. We put lots of time and effort into the items that we make, and we feel that we charge less than we deserve for our items.
Of course we would like to make our customers as happy as possible, so if you are unhappy with your item for any reason, you may let us know what we can change to make you happier. However, because of the time and work that goes into our products, we absolutely cannot afford to issue a refund. Please make 100% sure that you want the item before purchasing.
Additional Policies and FAQs
Any item with the symbol ۞ in the title/description is a high failure rate item. All this means is that the item is so difficult to make that it comes out wrong more often than it comes out right. You may notice that the price is slightly higher on these items. This is to help pay for the supplies that go to waste when the product fails.
We refuse to accept negative feedback. We are a small business where everything is completely hand made, and we value customer service above all. We are always willing to listen to any complaints that you may have regarding the item(s) that you receive, and depending on the severity, we are usually willing to replace the item(s) as well. Leaving negative feedback is extremely rude and inconsiderate to the hardworking artists here at Leviviridae, and even neutral feedback can put other customers off. So please, be considerate and contact us about ANY and ALL problems before leaving feedback. If you leave negative feedback without a second thought, we will contact Etsy about the matter.
Lastly, please remember that when you purchase from Etsy, you are purchasing from an individual person/small business where everything is hand made. If you are looking for absolute perfection, then you have come to the wrong place. We work extremely hard to get our items as close to perfection as possible, but a pair of hands cannot always hold a candle to factory work, so please be kind in judging our hard work. :) Thank you.
