Welcome to Old School Handwovens & Fossil Creek Fibers!

I have taken a hiatus and now am back with a mission.

Previously devoted to rag rugs and yarns, I have now added 19th century carpet, Clan tartans in scarf form ( for the moment )and handspun yarn from my flock of varied fiber sheep and Angora rabbits.

Please be patient as I reconstruct my site and slowly add new rugs and period textiles.

In addition to weaving I am restoring and setting up 18th century barn frame looms to use in my studio, to keep with the authenticity of the period textiles.
Add to that caring for the sheep, rabbits, horses, ducks, dogs and cat plus teaching, and I'm fairly busy in a good way!
