My Etsy experience started long ago in the fall of 2008. Many folks I knew had NO IDEA what Etsy was...but I was intruiged! I opened not one...but THREE shops here on Etsy.

As a schooled Residential Interior Designer & brick and mortar shop owner, I've learned the value of editing. To curate a really great shop you need to know about editing. My main problem was fitting all the things I liked to do into one shop. So, I opened three instead. It's been a great decision for me ( a bit more work mind you, but great! ).

Ollie Bollen is named for my love of childhood and the Dutch heritage which shaped me. When I work with items for Ollie Bollen it reminds me of being a little girl again...loving pink and being surrounded by retro 1970's glory. My grandmother made excellent Olie Bollen (small round dutch donuts) and they were not only sweet....but very memorable too! Thus the name Ollie Bollen....sweet & filled with memorable items :)

My two other shops are very different...and yet similar one is Wesley Asher http://www.etsy.com/shop/wesleyasher which is very retro rustic chic. The other is for my namesake as it's my photography/print site; TrishaBrinkDesign http://www.etsy.com/shop/trishabrinkdesign
