Opelle designs contemporary classic handbags for the modern woman. With a practical approach to styling, our bags are designed to function as beautifully as they look, providing a thoughtful alternative to modern fashion. It’s an expression of a unique vision. Handcrafted of buttery soft Italian leather in our small studio, each creation embodies our values of principled design over trend, quality over mass production and the belief that inspired fashion can be produced at home, ethically, artfully and without compromise. We strive to provide exceptional quality and remain true to our vision from conception to delivery.
Each bag is created by hand in our small studio of locally sourced leather derived from farm raised animals and milled with a minimum of chemical processing. Each hide is hand selected for softness, durability and character and hand cut to maintain the natural elegance of each piece and minimize waste. By keeping production hands on and at home we’re able to ensure that each bag is a perfect specimen of luxurious quality from start to finish.
Opelle accepts major credit cards through Paypal. If you are checking out with an existing Paypal account, please ensure that your information is up to date, including your shipping address, prior to check out.
If you are ordering from within Ontario, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick or Newfoundland you will be charged HST on the final item price exclusive of shipping. In the case of sale items, taxes will be charged on the sale price. No sales tax will be added to any US or International orders.
Prices listed on the page and in the shopping cart do not include shipping, handling or taxes. When you check out, select the shipping options which best suites you. Taxes will be added according to your location. The final price (including applicable taxes, shipping and exchange rate) will be displayed prior to finalizing checkout and will also be sent to you in the confirmation receipt/email.
Promo codes are valid at the time of purchase only, for the discount amount or percentage specified. Codes are not retroactive, we can not apply discounts or codes after the order has been placed. Codes are valid for the dates specified only. Limit 1 per transaction.
STOCK AVAILABILITY & MADE TO ORDER
As each Opelle bag is handmade individually, we aren’t always able to ensure that every bag is in stock at all times. In order to give our customers full access to every available style, some items are listed as ‘Made to Order’. These are regular stock items that are in production and will ship within 1 – 3 weeks from date of ordering and will be clearly marked in the item description.
All in stock orders are shipped within 3 business days of receipt of your order. If you would like rush processing, please email us at info [!at] opellecreative.com prior to placing your order. Wait-listed and Pre-order items will ship within 1 - 3 weeks of receipt of order. We will email you with shipping info once your order is complete. We use Canada Post for all orders. If you would like an alternate shipment method or courier, please contact us prior to ordering.
Standard Shipping (FREE) – Receipt in 3 to 10 business days from shipment
Express Shipping ($10 CAD) – Receipt in 1 to 3 business days from shipment
Standard Air ($18) – Receipt in 4 to 10 business days from shipment
Express Air ($30) – Receipt in 2 to 4 business days from shipment
All International orders are shipped via Canada Post International Air with an expected arrival approximately 7-21 days from date of shipment. The cost of an International order is $30 CAD.
IMPORT DUTIES & TAXES
Orders to Countries outside Canada and the US may be subject to import fees and duties. These fees are assessed and imposed by your local customs office and will vary by country. Any customs, duties or tarrifs imposed on import are the responsibility of the buyer. We are unable to effect or reimburse these costs in any way. By purchasing from opellecreative.com you agree to responsibility for any fees.
Refunds and Exchanges
RETURNS & REPAIRS
Any unused standard merchandise purchased from opellecreative.com may be returned for an exchange or refund if received within 14 days of receipt of shipment.
All returns must be requested by contacting info [!at] opellecreative.com prior to return shipment. Items sent for return or exchange must in original condition, unused with all tags in place. Please ensure returned items are packaged safely in either the original shipping box or a comparable carton. Opelle retains the right to deny returns on merchandise that is not received in salable condition. We cannot accept returns which are damaged or lost in transit or that are received after 14 days of receipt. Return shipment costs are the responsibility of the customer except in the case of faulty merchandise. Sale and any special order items are FINAL SALE and cannot be exchanged or returned. When refunds are issued they will be applied to the original purchaser via the same method that payment was received, minus original shipping costs. Opelle is unable to refund any customs or duties incurred on items shipped outside North America.
Opelle Creative strives to provide the highest quality product possible. Items are considered faulty where a quality or production flaw occurs within 1 year of purchase. Please inspect your product carefully. We will make reasonable repairs on items purchased from opellecreative.com for up to 1 year from date of purchase. Please address repair inquiries to info [!at] opellecreative.com
Please note that we reserve the right to deny unreasonable repair requests.
All returns must be authorized by Opelle prior to return shipping. Please email us at info [!at] opellecreative.com with your order details for a return number. Returned items may be returned (use original packaging if possible) to: Opelle Creative Inc. 128 St. Clarens Ave, Toronto, Ontario M6K 2S8
Please note that returns received with duties, tarriffs or import taxes attached will be refused. It is the shipper's responsibility to ensure that returns are sent free of c.o.d. restrictions.
Once your return is received and inspected we will process your refund/exchange within 2 business days, via the same means by which original payment was made. Please allow up to 7 days for refunds to appear on your credit/debit statement.
